Job Summary

I'm partnering with a rapidly growing manufacturing business based in Coventry seeking to expand their purchasing team by hiring a Buyer. This role is crucial to their continued growth and success. As a Buyer, you will manage spend on fabrications and aluminium parts, working across multiple exciting projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in a thriving company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to meet project time lines.

  • Procurement Operations: Process orders, manage deliveries, and ensure contract compliance.

  • Cost Optimisation: Identify and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality and delivery targets.

  • Contract Negotiation & Compliance: Secure favourable supplier terms and ensure contract adherence.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in procurement processes and work-flows.

  • Cross-Functional Support: Provide procurement support to internal teams.

Experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
