Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with a respected and trusted, independently owned housing developers in the UK, who are currently on the look out for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis out of their office in Warwickshire. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be play a pivotal role in ensuring the commercial success of our developments by working clsoely with our operations and commercial teams to deliver projects to deadlines, in budget and to a high standard.

What are we looking for?

  • Prior experience as a QS, within a new build housing setting.
  • Ability to form strong working relationships
  • Good planning and time management skills
  • Excellent negotiating skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain budget control
  • Produce accurate bi-monthly valuations
  • Procure sub-contractors, good and materials
  • Payment approvals and processing
  • Prepare valuation reports
  • Liaise with site team and sub-contractors
  • Provide support to the commercial department
