Quantity Surveyor – We are working with a leading Groundworks and Civil Engineering company operating nationwide, delivering everything from complex large projects to smaller scale jobs. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join as they are expanding the team, this is great opportunity to join a growing business.

You’ll be based south west of Coventry, and be able to drive due to rural location. Groundworks and Fencing experience would be desirable.

Your role:

Take offs and Measures
Create tender submission and return having reviewed with internal team.
Submission of monthly applications for works completed for payment.
Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitoring project progress and providing regular financial reports.
Advising on procurement strategies and contract management
Tracking payments received and then chasing those that are late.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential development.
Would consider an Assistant Quantity Surveyor on reduced salary.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Salary £45k - £55k per annum based on experience
