At GI Group, we are currently recruiting for Class 1 drivers for our client in Lutterworth , LE17 for night shift. With a focus on reliability and excellence in service, we are currently seeking a dedicated Class 1 Driver's to join us today for long-term work including the possibility of a temp-to-perm.
Class 1 Driver Job description:
* Night shift
* Delivering pallets mostly to supermarkets.
* Manual hand ball included.
* You must adhere to all road safety regulations and maintain high standards of professionalism.
Shifts and Hours:
* Monday to Friday nights (weekend work available)
* Start Times: 17:00 pm - 20:00 pm
* 10-12 h shift
Nights rates of Pay:
* 20.73 per hour inclusive of your holiday pay
Class 1 Driver the Role:
* Driver must do all pre driving checks
* Goods will need to be checked against a delivery note
* Some goods are high value and particular attention needs to be paid to these when
delivering. This includes not leaving the vehicle open or unattended when delivering.
* You must always remain professional.
* Compliant / safe delivery of our client's products to their customers nationwide
* Any problems must be communicated to the office / managers as and when they
arise.
* You won't be paid for 45 minutes a day for your breaks please take these.
* Demonstrating good customer service always is essential.
Class 1 Driver The Perfect Candidate :
1. Valid Class 1 driving license with relevant certifications.
2. Previous experience for minimum 12 months transport essential.
3. Clean driving record and a commitment to safe driving practices.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
