HIAB Driver Job description:
GI Group are recruiting for Class 2 HGV HIAB Drivers for a position with our clients based in Coventry & Warwickshire. The ideal candidate will be placed on temporary assignments to support the needs of our ever growing client base.
This role is commutable from: Coventry, Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby, Nuneaton, Kenilworth and the other surrounding areas.
HIAB Driver The Role:
This role consists of multi-drop delivery work consisting of primarily building materials and timber products, completing deliveries across the West Midlands. Manual handling may also be required if the driver cannot unload using the crane, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable with strenuous work such as lifting. This is a temporary position and training will be provided on the job if needed. The driver will need to be completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.
17.93 inclusive of your holiday pay
HIAB Driver The Perfect Candidate:
* Will hold a Clean Full UK Driving Licence
* Will hold a valid Tachograph and CPC Card
* Will hold a valid Class 2 HGV driving licence
* Will hold a valid HIAB licence
* Must have a minimum of 12 months experience for insurance purposes.
* Will be over 25 years old for insurance purposes
* Will be flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.
* Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and an attention to detail is essential.
