Research and Development Project Leader - 35962796 - £33.88/hr (Umbrella Rate)

What You Will Do:

- Lead cross-functional projects with multi-stakeholder requirements, ensuring collaborative and innovative strategies are effectively developed and executed.

- Coordinate work across multiple projects, meeting crucial deadlines with a high degree of numeracy and attention to detail.

- Utilise high-level organisational and effective communication skills to liaise across internal teams and external partners.

- Prepare formal documentation to prescribed standards, managing confidential information with a focus on GDPR compliance.

- Leverage government funding to accelerate and scale up R&D projects, working closely with industry and academia.

- Operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to respond to support requests efficiently.

What You Will Bring:

- Proven experience in business planning or project management within a cross-functional environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and previous experience with enterprise systems like SAP.

- A track record of planning and coordinating multiple projects to meet deadlines effectively.

- Previous involvement in government-funded collaborative R&D projects, such as Innovate UK and EU, is preferred.

- A level / HND qualification, with a background in accountancy audit or a regulated finance framework being advantageous.

This role is integral to supporting the collaborative R&D strategy, ensuring that innovative projects are delivered efficiently and effectively, contributing significantly to the company's goals of advancing automotive technology and sustainability.
