Secondary Teaching Assistant – Coventry
Location: Coventry, Warwickshire 
Position: Full-time

Are you passionate about helping young people succeed? We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a GOOD rated Ofsted school in Coventry. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact in the classroom and develop your career in education.

The Role

You will work closely with teaching staff to support students across a range of subjects. Your role will involve:

  • Supporting learning in class and helping students access lesson materials

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support, including for students with additional needs

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons

  • Assisting students with SEN by adapting resources and classroom activities

  • Helping develop and implement personalised learning plans

  • Supporting the emotional, social and academic progress of students

  • Carrying out general classroom and administrative tasks as needed

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced working with young people (school experience ideal but not essential)

  • Patient, supportive and able to build strong relationships with students

  • Confident communicating with staff, pupils and parents

  • Proactive, flexible and able to work well as part of a team

  • Passionate about education and helping students overcome barriers to learning
