This role can consist of exciting duties such as:

Supporting Teaching and Learning
* Delivering planned lessons or learning activities in the teacher's absence.
* Supporting individuals or groups of pupils, especially those with additional needs.
* Assisting with the planning of learning activities under the teacher's guidance.
* Monitoring pupils' progress and providing feedback to teachers.
Classroom Management
* Supervising a class during short-term teacher absence or while the teacher is working with another group.
* Managing pupil behaviour in line with school policy.
* Creating a positive, supportive learning environment.
Assessment and Record-Keeping
* Contributing to the assessment of pupils by recording observations and progress.
* Supporting teachers in evaluating the effectiveness of learning activities.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:

* HLTA qualification (essential).
* Strong behaviour management skills.
* A minimum of 2 years' UK HLTA experience.
* Excellent safeguarding knowledge, as well as safeguarding training (we can provide training).
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
* References covering the last two years of employment.
