Our client is looking for a sewing machinist to join their small and friendly team, they provide a nice clean environment to work in. You would be responsible for operating the sewing machines to produce fabric products like clothing, upholstery, and other textile items. You program the machine, set up all the threads and uniforms to be stitched and monitor the machine. They stitch together pre-cut fabric pieces, following patterns and specifications to create finished products. Key duties also include adjusting machine settings, quality control checks, and basic machine maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proficient in sewing techniques and machine operation
- Experience in warehouse settings is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Familiarity with fabric types and their handling
- Team player with good communication skills
This is an evening shift pattern 3pm - 11pm Mon - Fri, training for 2 weeks initially which is 7am - 3pm
