Horizon Care and Education have an opportunity in our homes across the West Midlands for a Deputy Manager to join our team in upholding our standards of care, fostering growth, and inspiring positive change.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Residential Manager, ensuring the home aligns with our values and standards in their absence.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the team, aiding in their professional development and individual growth.
  • Oversee colleague management, including appraisals, supervision and training adherence.
  • Manage health and safety protocols, risk assessments and ensure all necessary training is completed.
  • Financial Management of the home
  • Environment Management
  • Quality Assurance
  • Upholding professional Care Practices

Qualifications and Experience:

  • We require a Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce qualification for this role.
  • You will need at least 1 years' experience of Senior Support Work in a Childrens Residential setting.
