Learning Support Assistant - FE College - Coventry (CV4) - Full-Time - From 95 Per Day

Are you passionate about helping young people with additional needs reach their full potential? We're delighted to offer a rewarding opportunity for a committed and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a respected specialist college in Coventry. You'll be supporting students aged 16-25 with complex needs, including Autism, physical disabilities, and multiple learning difficulties.

This role is all about creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where students can develop their confidence, independence, and life skills. If you're patient, proactive, and ready to make a real difference, we want to hear from you.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to ensure students can fully engage in learning

  • Encouraging independence within the classroom and throughout college life

  • Supporting engaging, accessible learning activities tailored to each student's needs

  • Promoting emotional, social, and communication development

  • Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure consistent care and support

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people with SEN is ideal, especially in a post-16 setting - but enthusiasm and willingness to learn are equally valued

  • A calm, compassionate approach with strong behaviour management skills

  • Great communication and teamwork abilities

  • Passion for supporting independence and personal development

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is an advantage but not essential - your attitude and dedication matter most
