The Client recruiting for the C# .NET Software Developer

  • A respected legal firm with a HQ in Coventry, and sites elsewhere in the UK.
  • Ambitions to build their own CMS rather than utilise and existing 'off-the-shelf' model.
  • Joining a small but very experienced team who you'll be able to learn from and bounce ideas off.

Your Role as a C# .NET Software Developer

  • You will be designing, developing, and implementing a bespoke legal CMS platform.
  • Predominantly using C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL, utilising software patterns when needed
  • Working alongside the team, you'll be involved with the full development cycle.
  • Troubleshoot and debugging as required.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to produce a strong, viable platform.
  • Other projects are also in the pipeline which you'll be assisting on
  • A Mon - Fri role; 9am - 5:15pm with a 45-minute lunch break.

Ideal Background for the C# .NET Software Developer

  • Proven (4+ years) professional experience of C# .NET development with emphasis on NET Core and NET Framework.
  • 3+ years' experience with ASP.NET Core applications with Razor Pages.
  • Working proficiency with Visual Studio, Javascript, HTML DOM, Git, and REST API's
  • Confident debugging and problem solving
  • Knowledge of SQL, Azure, WPF, and UI such as MVC, Blazor, and MVVM would be advantageous
  • Excited by the thought of building a project from scratch.
  • Happy commuting to the Coventry office daily.
  • Able to work in the UK without sponsorship
