Are you a recent Speech & Language Therapy graduate or an experienced Teaching Assistant with a background in supporting speech and language needs?

Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming, inclusive two-form entry primary school in central Coventry to recruit a dedicated Speech & Language Teaching Assistant to join their supportive SEND team from September.

The Role:

  • Support pupils across the school with speech, language and communication development

  • Work closely with the SENCo to implement EHCP targets and tailored strategies

  • Help create an engaging, nurturing environment that encourages communication and learning

  • Support social interaction and peer relationships for children with communication difficulties

  • Track and report on pupil progress and engagement

Who We're Looking For:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or Speech & Language related degree
  • Experience supporting children with speech and language difficulties
  • Familiarity with alternative communication systems
  • Strong understanding of SEND and the primary curriculum
  • Patient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupils
