About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Lecturer in Brickwork to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment, helping learners achieve their full potential. You will play a crucial role in curriculum development and provide both academic and pastoral support.

Job Title: Brickwork Lecturer

Position: Mon to Fri, 37 hours

Role type: Permanent

Location: Coventry

Salary: £27,665 to £40,644 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that meet curriculum standards and reflect current industry needs.
  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and comprehensive.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to learners, helping them to overcome challenges and succeed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to enhance the learning experience.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching and learning methods including Assessment for Learning, Blended Learning, and Information Learning Technology.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in Brickwork or a relevant subject.
  • Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
  • Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • Proven experience in teaching Health & Safety, Principles of Building within a teaching/training environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to employ a range of teaching and learning methods effectively.
