We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Craftsperson to join our friendly and dedicated team at Tarmac Aberthaw Cement Plant.

Main Responsibilities
As an Electrical Craftsperson, you will be a key member of our Maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical and process control equipment across the plant. Your duties will include:
Maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing electrical and control systems used in plant operations.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring safety is always your top priority.
Developing a thorough working knowledge of plant equipment including instrumentation, PLCs, DCS/SCADA systems, LV & HV motors, switchgear and control gear, AC/DC systems, variable speed drives, and specialist control panels.
Carrying out mechanical maintenance repairs where required (e.g., bearing replacement, device alignment).
Working flexibly, with potential weekend or split day shift requirements.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
Proven experience as a qualified electrical craftsperson or in process control maintenance.
18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations certification.
Multi-skilled engineering maintenance background.
Experience with PLC systems.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A flexible, proactive, and safety-conscious approach to work.
