A Mechanical Maintenance Engineer position is available on the Isle of Wight with a leading Facilities & Maintenance provider.
The role involves ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of mechanical equipment, conducting inspections, and performing repairs.
Candidates should have proven experience in a mechanical maintenance role and relevant engineering qualifications, along with strong health & safety knowledge.
The position requires the ability to work independently on a static site and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
The salary for this permanent, full-time role is competitive, and candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer and if successful, you will be joining a leading Facilities & Maintenance provider.

Duties:

Ensure the correct functioning and maintenance of Mechanical equipment and services
Conducting routine inspections
Performing repairs and preventive maintenance tasks
Document the completed works
Ensure all work is carried out to the programme, in line with site and company policies
Adhere to strict health & safety at all times
Support the wider engineering & FM teams

Proven experience in a mechanical maintenance role
Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications
Strong understanding of health & safety practices and compliance
Ability to work independently on a static site, with excellent problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and a professional, client-facing manner
