Pay Rate: £85.12 - £95.13 per day

Location: Cradley
Hours:

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 0845 – 1445.

Wednesday: 0845 – 1630

Friday: 0845 – 1315.

 

Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in an Alternative Provision school in Cradley, supporting students in Key Stages 3 & 4 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

 

Job Requirements for this Teaching Assistant role in Birmingham:

  • Experience supporting students with SEMH needs – essential
  • Experience within an alternate provision / PRU environment
  • Strong interpersonal and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to build trust and positive relationships with pupils
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting challenging behaviour
