Adecco Northumberland are looking to recruit a production operatives for their client based in Cramlington on a temporary to permanent position.
This will be working day shift only Monday - Friday with a pay rate of £12.21 per hour.
Are you passionate about working with wood and contributing to the creation of high-quality advertising products? Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operative to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and prepare raw materials, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Operate woodworking machinery and equipment to shape, cut, and finish wooden components.
- Assemble wooden parts according to design specifications, ensuring precision and quality.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Apply finishes, coatings, or treatments to enhance the appearance and durability of wood products.
- Properly package finished goods for shipping, preventing damage during transit.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and address challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced and materials used.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in woodworking or a related field.
- Familiarity with woodworking machinery and tools.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
