Food Preparation Specialist

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Produce pre-prepared food products, both manually and using machinery, to exact specifications and within set deadlines.
  • Weigh, label, and stack products efficiently.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness for the workplace and machinery.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), and Food Hygiene regulations, including allergen controls.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to create a positive workplace.
  • Offer help to colleagues and seek assistance when needed.
  • Learn about our products thoroughly to enhance quality control.
  • Ensure personal and team safety at all times.
  • Be a reliable and supportive team member, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments.
  • Superior knife skills and proficiency in using, stripping, and cleaning machinery.
  • Ability to work in a chilled environment and manage physical tasks, including lifting up to 25KG.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
  • Ability to work flexibly and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good sense of humour and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
