This is a full time position, 35.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday: 9am - 5pm, Friday: 9am - 3pm, based at their site in Cramlington.
Salary:
Approximately 28,000 per annum (pro-rata for a 3 month contract).
Your main duties will be:
- Responsible for managing the Accelerated Weathering Programme.
- Ensuring all weathering machines are maintained in good working order.
- Developing and promoting ideas to improve the Programme and Equipment setup.
- Interpreting test results for product construction and modification.
- Completing and reporting Laboratory work and running plant trials.
Candidate requirements - skills and experience:
- Degree/diploma in Chemistry, Materials Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years' experience of working in a polymer laboratory.
- Must have a full UK Driving Licence, be able to drive and have access to a car.
