SEN Learning Support Assistant

We’re looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and passionate team in Surrey. If you're currently a Care Assistant, Health Care Assistant, or Support Worker and have ever thought about working with children, this could be your perfect opportunity. Full training and support will be provided along the way!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting children in developing their confidence, communication, and social skills.
- Helping deliver engaging learning activities tailored to each child’s needs.
- Encouraging positive play during break times—yes, that might mean joining in with a game or two!
- Assisting with personal care in a respectful and supportive way, always promoting independence.
- Getting involved in school trips and extracurricular activities.
- Helping keep the classroom organised and stocked with learning materials.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, teachers, and families.
- Continuously learning and growing your understanding of autism and related needs.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Someone with experience working with children or young people—this could be in a school, care setting, or even through volunteering.
- A calm, patient, and positive person who can support children with challenging behaviours.
- Someone who’s happy to help with personal care when needed.
- A team player who’s always ready to lend a hand and learn something new.
- Comfortable using basic Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Physically able to support children in a hands-on environment.
