Our client, a well known & growing business based in Crawley is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their Accountancy team

Description

Financial Accountant - Crawley

  • The Financial Accountant will be responsible for recording revenue in compliance with IFRS requirements, often for complex agreements. This includes reviewing customer PO's, Statement of Work documents, Master Purchasing Agreements and Terms & Conditions.
  • Day-to-day focus is supporting US revenue accounting; however, we need the flexibility for them to work across any aspect of revenue recognition both in the US or globally.
  • Supporting the documentation of current processes and controls.
  • Monthly responsibilities include journal entry preparation for revenue and transfer cost, account reconciliations.
  • Upload of financial data to corporate consolidation system, and management reporting using advanced Excel skills such as pivots and v-lookups.
  • Other responsibilities include maintenance of revenue amortization schedules, purchase price variance analysis, and provision analysis.
  • Requires communication and partnership with FP&A, Auditors, Accounting, Tax, Supply Chain, Order Entry, Commercial Operations and other business experts throughout the globe.
  • Project management experience with analysis and investigation skills.
  • Some flexibility in working hours may be required from time to time to support US based colleagues.
