This role sits within their Field Operations division, supporting both new installations and ongoing maintenance for a wide range of security equipment.
As a Field Service and Installation Engineer you will be installing, servicing, and maintaining security systems at client sites across the UK and occasionally abroad. As part of a mobile engineering team, you'll ensure systems are functioning reliably and safely, while delivering excellent customer service and technical support.
Field Service and Installation Engineer responsibilities:
- Carry out installations and servicing of mechanical and electrical security systems
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently and safely
- Maintain accurate service records and complete reports after each site visit
- Manage vehicle stock levels and ensure tools and parts are available for upcoming jobs
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
- Support training and mentoring of junior technicians (if applicable)
- Assist with system upgrades and retrofits
- Participate in internal training to stay up to date with product developments
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
Skills & experience required:
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Good physical fitness to meet the demands of the role
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to pass security clearance checks
- Experience in mechanical and electrical systems (preferred)
- CSCS, IPAF, PASMA certifications (desirable but not essential)
