This role sits within their Field Operations division, supporting both new installations and ongoing maintenance for a wide range of security equipment.

As a Field Service and Installation Engineer you will be installing, servicing, and maintaining security systems at client sites across the UK and occasionally abroad. As part of a mobile engineering team, you'll ensure systems are functioning reliably and safely, while delivering excellent customer service and technical support.

Field Service and Installation Engineer responsibilities:

  • Carry out installations and servicing of mechanical and electrical security systems
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently and safely
  • Maintain accurate service records and complete reports after each site visit
  • Manage vehicle stock levels and ensure tools and parts are available for upcoming jobs
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
  • Support training and mentoring of junior technicians (if applicable)
  • Assist with system upgrades and retrofits
  • Participate in internal training to stay up to date with product developments
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations

Skills & experience required:

  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Good physical fitness to meet the demands of the role
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to pass security clearance checks
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical systems (preferred)
  • CSCS, IPAF, PASMA certifications (desirable but not essential)
