Maintenance Manager – Prestigious Hotel 

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for high standards and a knack for problem-solving? We’re working in partnership with a leading hotel brand to find an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of maintenance operations and ensure a seamless guest experience.

About the Role

As Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional maintenance services across the hotel. From preventative maintenance to renovation projects, you’ll ensure the property is always in top condition, compliant, and aligned with brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the Maintenance department, including planning, prioritising, and delegating tasks.
  • Lead by example with hands-on maintenance work (plumbing, carpentry, electrical).
  • Manage renovation, installation, and repair projects from start to finish.
  • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules across all hotel areas.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, statutory regulations, and brand standards.
  • Monitor and manage mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Champion sustainability and energy conservation initiatives.
People Leadership
  • Inspire and lead a high-performing maintenance team.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to meet technical and service standards.
  • Conduct performance reviews and implement development plans.
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety and training requirements.
  • Participate in the hotel’s 7-day rota and emergency call-out duties.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a similar maintenance leadership role, ideally within hospitality.
  • Strong technical knowledge across plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to excellence.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance and health & safety regulations.
