Director of Catering - West Sussex - £80k
I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Director of Catering for an independent school based in West Sussex. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking for a 5* Manager to join their team.
My client is a leading one of the UKs leading Contract Caterers, who place a real focus on the development of their people. The kitchen caters for close over 2500 covers a day over a breakfast, lunch and dinner service. As the Director of Catering, you will be responsible for a team of 70, ensuring training, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs with a P&L.
The ideal Director of Catering will have the following skills/ knowledge;
Currently working as a General Manager or Operations Manager within Contract Catering.
Extensive experience within Independent Schools or B&I
Full of innovation and creativity to develop the food offering.
A strong background in both retail and events/ hospitality.
Strong stakeholder relationships
Working predominantly Monday to Friday, however you will be required to work weekends to suit the demands of the business.
