Job Title: Traffic Marshall - Gatwick Airport

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Traffic Marshall with a valid A73 CPCS ticket to manage the flow of vehicles and equipment across the airside and landside areas of Gatwick Airport. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with airport safety regulations, maintain clear communication with operations teams, and facilitate smooth traffic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and control vehicle movements safely across designated airport areas.
• Ensure compliance with all airport, company, and statutory safety regulations.
• Operate in high-pressure environments while maintaining focus on safety.
• Communicate effectively with airport operations teams and other stakeholders.
• Perform routine checks on traffic management equipment (cones, signage, barriers).
• Report incidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks as required by the site manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A73 CPCS Ticket (mandatory)
• Previous experience as a Traffic Marshall or in a similar role, preferably in an airport or high-security environment.
• Knowledge of airport safety procedures and vehicle marshalling protocols.
• Valid driving licence; additional airport permits or badges are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow strict safety procedures.
