We are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover contracts in the South East. The role is within a well-established outfit who offer a wide range of asbestos management services to their client base. They are seeking someone who can integrate well into their professional outfit, and can hit the ground running from the start. Our client is seeking someone around: Crawley, Horley, Caterham, Oxted, East Grinstead, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Shoreham-by-Sea, Storrington, Worthing, Brighton, Billingshurst, Horsham, Southwater, Littlehampton, Cranleigh, Epsom, Sevenoaks, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Newhaven, Seaford, Sutton, Croydon, Bromley, Orpington, Surbiton, Woking, Guildford.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited company
- Must hold the P402 (BOHS or RSPH equivalent) as a minimum
- Strong technical knowledge, including HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
- Good written ability
- IT proficient
The Role:
- Attending client sites to complete management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
- Producing thorough survey reports, including site schematics
- Safely collecting ACM samples from site
- Meeting with clients to discuss findings
- Working to deadlines and personal targets
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
- Adhering to industry guidelines
