Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Data & Payroll Analyst to join our global and well established clients team. This role combines responsibility for managing people data and analytics with the full payroll cycle, supporting both strategic decision-making and day-to-day HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and analyse HR data to provide insights and support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and key workforce metrics.
  • Manage data for talent management, succession planning, and gender pay gap reporting.
  • Support HR initiatives, including training, wellbeing, and group-wide projects.
  • Maintain accurate employee records (holidays, sickness, benefits, bonuses).
  • Process end-to-end payroll, including pensions, statutory payments, deductions, and HMRC reporting.
  • Resolve payroll queries and issue relevant documentation.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience as a data analyst (ideally in HR/people data).
  • Payroll experience (end-to-end, including compliance with statutory requirements).
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI skills.
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with confidential data professionally.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and processes.
  • CIPD Level 3 (or higher) preferred.
