We are seeking a skilled and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our clients dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to maintaining the efficiency and safety of our warehouse operations.

Temporary for 2 weeks starting Monday 11th August 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and production areas.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts and ensure accurate stock levels by properly documenting all movements of goods.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries. Conduct daily equipment checks and report any issues immediately.
  • Material Handling: Ensure the accurate and safe handling of products, including fragile and hazardous materials, to prevent damage and ensure quality control.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment by performing routine housekeeping tasks and ensuring all materials are stored correctly.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow. Provide support in other areas of the warehouse as needed.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Valid counterbalance forklift license.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a forklift driver, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
  • Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation and material handling.
