Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant
Location: Crawley
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am - 3:00pm - Term Time only
Start Date: As soon as possible
Pay: 90-100 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Ongoing supply with the opportunity to go permanent

We are seeking a committed and adaptable Learning Support Assistant to join our clients SEND team. This role involves supporting students with additional needs as a Teaching Assistant (LSA / TA), enabling them to fully engage in their education both in and outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the educational and social development of students as an LSA
  • Deliver targeted learning programmes to individuals or small groups
  • Provide in-class TA support, providing 1-2-1 encouragement and ensuring the tasks are accessible and clear for the pupil
  • Assist with student records, access arrangements, and SEND administration
  • Contribute to the preparation for Annual Reviews and other student-focused meetings

  • Basic ICT skills and the ability to support learning using digital tools

  • Willingness to undertake training and professional development
