This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in housing, specifically within leasehold and home ownership services. The post is offered as a career graded role, meaning you will be supported and trained to progress through the grades based on your competence and experience. Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of leasehold management and Right to Buy (RTB) processes.
  • Maintain accurate billing, cost recovery, and service charge data.
  • Provide advice to leaseholders, shared owners, and RTB applicants.
  • Assist with Section 20 consultations and ensure legal compliance.
  • Liaise with Surveyors, Legal Services, and external agencies.
  • Support with tribunal preparation and complaint handling.
  • Perform administrative tasks using Microsoft Office and specialist systems.
  • Carry out occasional site visits and attend resident consultations.
Requirements:Essential:
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good standard of education (GCSE or equivalent)
  • Office-based work experience
  • Positive attitude towards customer service and self-development
  • Willingness to undertake occasional site visits and evening/weekend work
Desirable:
  • Basic understanding of Local Authority housing functions
  • Knowledge of leasehold and RTB legislation
  • Experience using specialist housing or finance software
