Warehouse Operations ManagerCirca £50,000 DOE, Pease Pottage (Crawley outskirts), Monday 8:30am - 5:30pm, Permanent, potential for performance related annual bonus scheme.

The RoleA rapidly growing logistics company specialising in B2B and B2C fulfilment across footwear, fashion, and luxury goods is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operations Manager to lead its warehouse and logistics function. This role reports directly to the Directors and will be pivotal in scaling operations and delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team across warehouse and logistics operations with clear task allocation
  • Optimising warehouse layout including racking and pick faces for operational efficiency
  • Utilising the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to structure processes and staffing effectively
  • Managing 3PL partnerships including courier and parcel services
  • Acting as a key liaison for client communication and service delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations across warehouse operations
  • Driving efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives across all functions
  • Supporting departmental budget planning and management
  • Implementing and refining logistics processes for continuous improvement
  • Monitoring KPIs to drive performance and resolve operational bottlenecks
  • Managing shift patterns to align staffing with business needs and workload

RequirementsThe ideal candidate will bring demonstrable experience in 3PL, warehousing, and operations within a similar environment such as e-commerce, retail or fashion. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, supplier negotiations, and warehouse layout planning is essential. The role calls for a hands-on, solutions-oriented leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for efficiency and continuous improvement.

This role could suit someone who has worked as a Warehouse Manager, Logistics Manager, or Operations Manager within a 3PL setting.
