Role Summary:
The Office Administrator will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the business. This position is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a proactive approach, particularly with experience in logistics or freight forwarding environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the operations and logistics teams
- Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation, including bills of lading and invoices
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and carriers via phone and email
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems, both digital and physical
- Monitor and replenish office supplies and equipment as needed
- Assist with data entry and updates to internal systems and databases
- Support the coordination and tracking of shipments and deliveries
- Handle incoming calls and general office correspondence
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry regulations
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative role (experience in freight forwarding or logistics is advantageous)
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
