This role is a fantastic opportunity to apply your category expertise, influence decision-making, and implement value-driven procurement strategies. Industry-specific experience is a plus, but what really matters is your ability to partner with business units, negotiate effectively, and deliver commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Advising stakeholders across the business on procurement best practices
- Leading commercial negotiations to deliver cost savings and maximise value
- Managing risks and ensuring compliance within procurement activities
- Building and implementing category strategies aligned to business goals
- Developing strong partnerships across departments to enhance procurement maturity
Experience required:
- Demonstrated experience leading procurement operations
- Ability to engage, influence, and collaborate effectively across a range of teams and functions
- Skilled in securing strategic, long-term supplier agreements that balance cost, quality, and risk
- An analytical mindset with a focus on cost optimisation and continuous improvement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
