Assistant Quantity Surveyor

£30,000 - £40,000 Per Annum
We are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team on a variety of Coastal projects across Portsmouth, Brighton and Rye on a permanent basis.
Our client is an industry leader within the Civil Engineering space and have worked on a large scale projects across the UK.
Responsibilities:
* Travel to sites across the south west region.
* Supporting the Quantity Surveyor and Senior Surveyors in managing subcontractor and labour packages.
* Managing and identifying opportunities and risks within the contract.
* Produce both client and internal forecasts
* Build and manage strong relationships with subcontracts as well as internal and client counterparts.
Requirements:
* Experience working as either a Trainee, Graduate or Assistant Quantity Surveyor within the Construction or Infrastructure space.
* Hold UK Driver's License to be able to travel across the South West region.
* Ability to work with Site teams, contractors and external parties to discuss the project's progress and understand and issues.
* Confidently spoken and able to successful influence and engage with suppliers and contractors.
* Knowledge of NEC contracts.
