We’re looking for someone to join our fantastic team in a lively and supportive secondary school. You’ll be teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 English, with plenty of opportunities to get creative and bring the subject to life for your students. If you’re all about making learning exciting and engaging, then this is the role for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Plan and deliver fun, thought-provoking lessons that bring English to life and make students excited to learn.
- Teach English across Key Stage 3 and 4, covering everything from Shakespeare to modern literature, poetry to creative writing.
- Keep track of student progress and provide feedback that helps them grow and succeed.
- Work closely with a fantastic team of teachers to create a vibrant, inclusive curriculum that inspires students to achieve their best.
- Encourage students to get involved in extracurricular activities, from reading clubs to school drama productions or creative writing competitions.
- Be an active part of the school community, attending school events, meeting parents, and helping with the overall development of the school.
Requirements:
Essential:
- QTS
- Secondary School Experience
Desirable:
- Catholic School Experience
