Academics is recruiting a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a specialist SEMH school in Crawley. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a supportive and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead small group sessions and deliver targeted learning support

Assist with planning and delivering lessons

Support students' emotional well-being, behaviour, and engagement

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and therapists
Requirements:

HLTA qualification or strong TA experience with progression

Experience supporting students with SEMH or SEN

Confident leading groups and adapting support to student needs

Patient, resilient, and proactive mindset

Full UK driving licence

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
