The Opportunity

Guided Talent is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and services business for a Service Coordinator to be based at their Crawley head office.

This is a key administrative and customer-facing role, supporting the Service Team with day-to-day operations while acting as a dedicated first point of contact for a portfolio of assigned customers. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned service customers
  • Provide day-to-day service administration support to the Service Team
  • Raise, process, and manage monthly invoices in line with agreed deadlines
  • Resolve invoice queries and raise credit notes where required
  • Prepare and issue monthly service reports for customers
  • Raise and allocate jobs to the Repairs / Service Engineering teams
  • Prepare, issue, and follow up service and repair quotations
  • Answer inbound telephone calls and emails professionally and efficiently
  • Assist with engineer scheduling and workload coordination
  • Ensure contractual service obligations are met for relevant clients
  • Provide cover for other administration team members when required
  • Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota (approximately 1 month in 12)
  • Carry out ad-hoc administrative duties as required

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident IT user with good general computer literacy
  • Proven experience in a customer service or service administration role
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and customer queries
  • Ability to take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities
