About the Role:

Academics Crawley is working closely with a supportive and inclusive secondary school in the Crawley area to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to start in September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for supporting young people with a range of learning needs. Whether you're an experienced LSA or looking to gain school-based experience before pursuing teacher training or a career in education, this role could be a great fit.

You'll work closely with teaching staff to provide one-to-one and small group support-both in and out of the classroom-to help students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with additional learning needs (e.g. SEN, EAL, or low prior attainment)

  • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and differentiated activities

  • Foster positive relationships with students to build confidence and independence

Requirements:
