This Essex-based M&E contractor specialises in large-scale residential developments and has significant investment and backing, alongside a real drive to develop, promote, and invest in its workforce.

You’ll lead the design function across multiple high-value residential projects, managing both internal teams and external consultants, ensuring design excellence, buildability, and cost efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone technically strong, commercially aware, and used to managing complex M&E schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the internal design team for large residential M&E projects
• Oversee design coordination with consultants, clients, and site teams
• Set and maintain design standards, buildability, and efficiency
• Advise senior leadership on design strategy and technical decisions
