Simulation Engineer

ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Lighting Electronics & Integration Engineer. You will support engineers and feature owners, to create virtual models of vehicles and lighting components for simulation.

The Role:

  • Development with Group counterparts, necessary input and output information of light software components to develop customer functions, develop and understand behavior of standard light functions e.g. low beam, high beam, turn indicator, brake light.

  • Receipt and acknowledgement of Simulation request.
  • Verification of customer requirements and Measurement Specifications.
  • Management of customer requirements & Expectations and deadlines

Requirements:

  • Reading Technical Drawings.
  • Ability to write clear technical reports
  • Understanding of electrical circuit diagrams, behaviour and control of LEDs and system integration onto vehicles.
  • Data management and revision control
  • Appreciation of vehicle communication networks including CAN and LIN communication buses.
  • Working to quality standards and processes
  • Experience with Microsoft office programs including word, power point and excel
