Location: Crewe

Pay Rate: Up to 33.15 per hour PAYE

Contract: Temporary - Until 31/01/2026

Working Pattern: Full Time - Hybrid (minimum of 2 days onsite)

Travel: EU and UK travel required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of EFA Chassis Systems, from initial specifications through validation to series introduction.
  • Spearhead CAD design and development within the Wheels team, ensuring that projects progress smoothly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet project milestones.
  • utilise both analysis and simulation, as well as physical component and vehicle testing, to validate chassis systems.
  • Manage and analyse data, producing insightful reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.

What We're Looking For:

  • A full driving licence and a willingness to conduct safe vehicle tests in various environments.
  • Experience in design and development of chassis systems such as wheels, steering, axles, and brakes.
  • Proficiency in Catia 2D/3D CAD software, with the ability to design check and release drawings.
  • A strong technical background in the automotive industry, with an understanding of engineering specifications and material standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to lead design reviews and influence colleagues across various teams.

Qualifications:

  • An Engineering Degree or equivalent is preferable
