Commercial Analyst | Crewe | £40,000 - £45,000

An opportunity to join a large, successful business in a highly visible role within their head office.

Working closely with the Financial Controller and Business Partner, you will have a broad range of responsibilities aimed at providing first class commercial reporting into the business, providing detailed analysis of performance and driving profitability.

Main duties include;

  • Play a key role in influencing strategic decisions by delivering data-driven insights that directly enhance profitability and operational performance.
  • Take ownership of monitoring and optimizing seasonal sales agreements across various customer segments to ensure maximum value extraction.
  • Implement and improve end-to-end contract lifecycle processes—from setup to closure—ensuring efficiency, compliance, and profitability.
  • Develop and automate reporting tools that improve visibility of sales and margin performance, supporting key business initiatives.
  • Actively challenge underperforming agreements and pricing inconsistencies to protect and grow commercial margins.
  • Collaborate closely with finance, procurement, sales, and operational teams to drive better integration and process improvements across the business.
  • Monitor customer offtake against agreements and work with stakeholders to manage order flow, prevent revenue leakage, and maximise contract fulfilment.
  • Help improve data accuracy and traceability in the allocation and tracking of resources tied to commercial agreements.
  • Influence process change by presenting clear, concise analysis to senior stakeholders and suggesting improvements that are grounded in data.
