Salary: £44,000 basic + £7000 service charge (on average) + 20% bonus = £60K package

With multiple stunning venues across Cheshire, Staffordshire and beyond, these guys are shaking up the pub game with chef-led menus, fresh seasonal ingredients, and kitchens that run on creativitynot chaos.

And now, they are looking for a Head Chef whos ready to take the reins, drive standards, lead a talented brigade, and be a part of something bigger.

We are on the hunt for a driven, creative, passionate Head Chef who can build, train and lead a team. We are looking for a calm, natural leader with a huge passion for creating quality dishes, someone that gets a real kick out of coaching, motivating and developing their team. All whilst ensuring that customer satisfaction and quality standards are of paramount priority.

The role:

  • As the Head Chef you will be accountable for each and every area of the kitchen operation.
  • You will oversee the preparation and production of quality dishes with a real focus on consistency.
  • You will engage your team to keep them motivated, informed and passionate about the business.
  • You will be passionate about retaining and developing your team, with clear succession plans to ensure the right people are in the right place.
  • You will be responsible for all Health and Safety and Food Hygiene within the kitchen, including training where necessary.
  • Working closely with the General Manager you will be responsible for GP, Stock ordering and rotation as well as minimising wastage.

Required Experience:

  • Solid hands-on Head Chef experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen.
  • Excellent food knowledge and strong people management as well as back of house/kitchen management experience.
  • A real role model with an appetite for success and the drive to deliver exceptional results and standards.
  • Good financial knowledge (P&L, GPs, revenue, quality/portion control) or at least a knowledge of the impact it has on the business Experience of leading, motivating, mentoring, training and developing a team of different personalities, levels of creativity and skillsets.
  • A strong multi-tasker with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • The ability to recruit, train, mentor, motivate and inspire your team with a focus on development and internal progression.
  • The ability to ensure that the team are working to the highest standards, adhering to all policies and procedures.
  • The desire to grow and develop your career with a successful, expanding company that will continue to grow.
  • A great personality - fun, passionate, charismatic, enthusiastic, people-focused and adaptable to all personalities.
  • A great communicator - excellent at developing relationships with the kitchen team, front of house team, senior management and others involved
