About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join one of our clients dedicated team. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a professional looking to work with a supportive company that offers long-term career stability and professional growth.
As a mobile commercial Gas engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a wide range of commercial gas systems, including boilers, heating plants, and associated equipment across our client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on commercial gas systems.
Apply expert fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, and control systems to deliver effective and lasting solutions.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and legal compliance, including completing risk assessments and job documentation via handheld technology.
Participate in an on-call rota to provide critical out-of-hours support for emergency callouts.
Supervise subcontractors where necessary, ensuring their work adheres to project specifications and safety protocols.
What You'll Need:
Essential Commercial Gas Qualifications: COCN1, CCN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, and CODNCO1.
Proven experience in the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas boilers and heating systems.
A full UK driving licence is mandatory.
A professional, proactive approach with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to complete accurate documentation.
