About this role:

We are currently seeking 2 experienced Panel Wirers / Electrical Fitters for a shop floor contract based in Crewe. This role involves electrical panel wiring, assembly, and fitting work within a busy automotive manufacturing environment. Immediate starts are available for the right candidates.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Wiring and assembling electrical control panels to engineering drawings and schematics
  • Installing, routing, and terminating cables, looms, and components
  • Conducting electrical testing and inspection of completed panels
  • Ensuring all work is completed to high-quality and safety standards
  • Working collaboratively with other electricians and engineers on the shop floor
  • Adhering to company and site-specific health and safety procedures


Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a Panel Wirer or Electrical Fitter within an automotive manufacturing or plant environment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Strong understanding of electrical components, control panels, and wiring layouts
  • Experience working to production schedules and quality standards
  • IPAF licence is highly desirable
  • 17th or 18th Edition qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
