About this role:
We are currently seeking 2 experienced Panel Wirers / Electrical Fitters for a shop floor contract based in Crewe. This role involves electrical panel wiring, assembly, and fitting work within a busy automotive manufacturing environment. Immediate starts are available for the right candidates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Wiring and assembling electrical control panels to engineering drawings and schematics
- Installing, routing, and terminating cables, looms, and components
- Conducting electrical testing and inspection of completed panels
- Ensuring all work is completed to high-quality and safety standards
- Working collaboratively with other electricians and engineers on the shop floor
- Adhering to company and site-specific health and safety procedures
Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Panel Wirer or Electrical Fitter within an automotive manufacturing or plant environment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Strong understanding of electrical components, control panels, and wiring layouts
- Experience working to production schedules and quality standards
- IPAF licence is highly desirable
- 17th or 18th Edition qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
