About this Position:


Contract role for a Photometry Engineer to carry out lighting measurements on vehicle components in both lab and vehicle environments. The role involves reporting on performance, maintaining testing facilities, and ensuring equipment calibration.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform photometric testing on prototype lighting components (interior and exterior)

  • Generate accurate test reports and maintain measurement records

  • Calibrate and maintain measurement equipment (e.g. Goniometer, Spectrometer)

  • Oversee upkeep of dark room and light tunnel facilities

  • Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to support validation processes

Experience Required:

  • HND or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or Mechanical with relevant experience)

  • Proven experience in photometry and component validation

  • Skilled in the use of measurement tools including Spectrometers and Imaging Colorimeters

  • Strong attention to detail with ability to work independently and cross-functionally

  • Willingness to occasionally travel within mainland Europe
