My Client, an award-winning consumer brand based in Cheshire, is recruiting a Senior SEO Specialist (hybrid)to join their Marketing team.

This role will be working alongside the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for all aspects of SEO to continually develop and implement the Company’s SEO strategy for all brands.

Key Responsibilities:

SEO / organic performance reporting, utilising industry standard tools and resources. This relates to all aspects of website performance, from technical SEO, through to the performance of commercial pages through to informational pages and blog content.

SEO audits (internal and competitor technical, content and backlink audits). Identifying gaps and potential improvements. Utilising analytical tools to analyse and evaluate SEO performance in comparison to competitors and from that, submit reports and recommendations for on-going strategy development.

Responsible for outreach campaigns and a range of link building activities for our brands as required

Perform link prospecting – collating relevant list of link opportunities.

Analyse content marketing metrics and make changes as needed.

Create content marketing campaigns to drive sales, leads and subscribers and use SEO best practices to generate traffic to sites.

Regularly produce various content types, including blog posts and white papers.

Actively manage and promote our blog, and pitch articles to relevant third-party platforms, in conjunction with the wider marketing team.

Collaborate with Head of Marketing and wider teams to see projects through to completion.

Come up with ideas for future campaigns for wider business projects to grow our brands.

Write content for websites including meta data, product descriptions, category descriptions, blog posts and ad-hoc pages (with the assistance of the Content Writer).

Deputise when required for Head of Marketing in meetings to report on the performance of the SEO team.

Manage the SEO Content Writer, ensuring a commercially appropriate balance of content is produced.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments within SEO (e.g. GEO) and our product range.

Skills Required:

Must have 2 years minimum experience in a dedicated SEO role, Either client-side or agency

A good all-round understanding of all main aspects of SEO (including technical SEO, onpage, content, link building research, ideation, reporting etc)

An understanding of search engine algorithm updates and the ability to respond confidently to the changing SEO landscape.

Excellent understanding of industry standard analytic tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog SEO Spider etc

At least a basic understanding of HTML & CSS (JavaScript a bonus)

Confident user of Microsoft packages - especially Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams. You must be able to work with and interpret large volumes of data (utilising VLOOKUP etc in Excel).

High level of written English, good understanding of grammar.

Able to demonstrate and convey data accurately.

Communicate findings and suggestions clearly and concisely to key stakeholders

Able to produce various content types, including blog posts and white papers.
