Primary Teaching Assistant - Full Time (Haslington)
Support a Key Stage 2 Pupil with an EHCP and Social & Emotional Needs
Start Date: September 2025 | OFSTED Outstanding Primary School

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our partner primary school in Haslington from September 2025.

This is a full-time, term-time only role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, supporting a child in Key Stage 2 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and social and emotional needs.

About the Role:

  • Provide one-to-one support to a Key Stage 2 child with additional needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions
  • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Adapt learning activities to meet the child's individual needs
  • Support the child both in class and during unstructured times as needed
  • Help foster a positive and inclusive primary school environment

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience supporting children with social, emotional or behavioural needs (desirable but not essential)
  • Is caring, patient, and consistent
  • Communicates effectively with children and staff
  • Can adapt to different situations and learning styles
