QA Technician

Location: Crewe

Duration: Temporary – 2 Months

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6am - 6pm.

Pay Rate: £15.00ph

Key Duties:

  • Managing incident reporting and non-conformance tracking across audits, spot checks, and operational exceptions.
  • Investigating root causes and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
  • Supporting departmental requests, including concession handling and escalation of quality issues.
  • Coordinating internal reviews, panels, or data collection exercises for performance and product analysis.
  • Collecting and logging operational samples, swabs, or materials for third-party testing and reviewing results for compliance.
  • Executing scheduled equipment calibration, validation, and verification to ensure ongoing operational accuracy.
  • Maintaining clear, accessible records and supporting traceability exercises and system audits.
  • Conducting technical risk assessments and escalating high-risk issues to senior management.
  • Managing the controlled hold and release of materials based on risk and approval protocols.

Key Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance, auditing, or compliance in a regulated or process-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of quality frameworks, audit techniques, and risk-based decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively across departments.
